History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Crown-heir. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: She stands about 6'1" and is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. Her right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. She has a very tight haircut. Her eyes are brown and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Herleva hails from a village terrorized by goblins. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered goblins who tried to eat her hand. She's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and balancing her hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult
