History: Born to a Sellsword, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Avelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mary grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mary. Being a Bather kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he has a large violet mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his tan robe. His hair is short and golden. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
