Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. A true patriot, Mary would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and further expansion of business

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and retire the richest woman in the west
