History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortspear use. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
