History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born in a small island village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Williamina took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Matilda was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Matilda decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After months of barely getting by, Matilda managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.
