Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Robert hails from a village terrorized by drow. He worked as a nervous Armorer and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
