History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Helen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This late middle aged man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it and is in decent physical shape. His hair is chestnut and very short. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
