History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Beggar. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Matilda is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Matilda and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Charles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Charles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it
