History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Herleva and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Gerard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
