Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. Her long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: Eleanor speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.
History: Born to a Roofer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She usually wears her violet robe and has her shield always slung over her shoulder. She has done her best to style her golden hair to look like a famous performer. She wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Emma is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Interpreter and was forced into it by her family.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering his clean studded leather. His black hair is knotted and matted. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gunter isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is a great chef.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. One day when Gunter was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Gunter was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Humans. Her skin is dark but she possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. She prefers to wear green clothing when she does not wear armor. Her hair is golden and curly. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for her, and Helen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Helen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Helen was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she feels kind of lost in life
