History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Jacoba was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jacoba's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Don was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
