History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Avice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heward grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heward. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Agnes lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.
