Description: She is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She has a hunchback. She has black hair. Her eyes are a pleasant gray.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Heather lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and regain custody of her son

Personality: Rolf speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a Animal Trainer soon after.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a grey costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso and is in decent physical shape. His black hair is thinning but still full. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
