The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He got into the Baker business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Painter, but he got bored and became a Baker. He struck the Baker job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has never given up on her dancing dream.
