History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugh. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Geva's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Being a Layabout kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Ralf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
