He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Everard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Heward learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
