Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Jacoba enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She got into the Ploughman business at a young age. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Jacoba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Beatrice was born the youngest of three triplets. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Doctor and was forced into it by her family; and she would like to get married and retire

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the west to a Merchant, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
