History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adelaide was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
