History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She tends to her Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.
