Description: 5'1" and muscular, this northern man wears suspenders and pastel workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy pastel leather apron most of the time. His hair is auburn and very short. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: Ernest wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Trym was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has achieved small success as a Spice Merchant.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
