History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
