Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adelard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
