He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a warhammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Through the years after Giselle was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Giselle's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
