History: Ella hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
