In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now mingles about in high society.

History: The child of a Navigator, who enjoyed hunting, Emmeline was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Barrister business.

History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.
