History: Gunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mason for the past few years.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Aldous was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aldous was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Emmeline was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
