Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the west to a Shoemaker, Adelard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ahlyssa embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Ahlyssa was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and doesn't want to be a crown-heir and was forced into it by her family
