History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emmeline grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. During her travels, Emmeline and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Emmeline discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Emmeline fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Theobald's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Theobald took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
