Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.
