History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Gifted from a young age, Joan studied abroad. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.
