Personality: Lewis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lewis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lewis. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Lewis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with her absent mother
