Upon awakening, Randal discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Randal fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Isabella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her childhood dream was to be a Carter, but she was a colossal failure. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born to a Bellfounder, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
