History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. At a young age her father died while driving off some illithids. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in shield use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Elysande was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and a rival would like him out of the picture
