Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avelina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Avelina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Don grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He was born in the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Born to a Cook, her father struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Jane took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She wants revenge against giants.
