History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Joan was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Joan's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A freak accident while working with his Animal Trainer mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
