She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Joan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her first spouse was a Miner, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Cook for the past few years.

History: Born in the east to a Bounty Hunter, Shane learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
