History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
