Description: He likes to wear white tank tops with brown pants. He carries a battered flail and tarnished quarterstaff as well. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Revenge; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: 5'3" and muscular, this southern man likes to wear pastel tank tops with green pants. He wears his white hair down. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to protect his home

Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. Her red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.
Personality: Millicent is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When Millicent reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but she was a colossal failure. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and she is unsatisfied with her job
