History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Frederick took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She uses divination through singing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Galiena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Galiena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He is a Painter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult
