History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Norman was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Norman decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Charles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
