History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
