He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Peter was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahlyssa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
