To get what you want from life, you must take it. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. After months of barely getting by, Nicholas managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins.
