Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emma embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Emma was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. After coming to the age of reason, Hugh took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wishes to resurrect an old love
