History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the north to a Bather, Beatrice learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Beatrice was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Beatrice's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Beatrice never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: Sarah is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She wears skinny pants and wears a blue and grey robe with the hood down. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her hair is silver and curly. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Knight, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and to unite with her brother
