History: Born in the south to a Fletcher, Melissa learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Doctor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Junk Dealer. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
