History: He was born in the east. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and wants to raise his children well

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and retire the richest woman in the east

His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
