History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears a blue wide-brimmed hat and blue clothes. His black hair is still thick. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Dean speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugolina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. A true patriot, Hugolina would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hugolina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
