The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Richard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
