Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Hubert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a slave trader and was forced into it by his family
